It may not contain any actual gameplay, but it will definitely get fans excited for the Halo-developers next journey into deep space. Stunning screenshots and inspired concept art prove that the studio’s desire to build movie-level settings and environments, but nothing compares to a highly-polished CG cinematic. A dusty landscape reminiscent of Star Wars and an emphasis on pack-hunting take center stage in this minute-long trailer, giving gamers an introductory lesson to ’the law of the jungle....
This week, however, a group of three Bungie developers took to the Crota’s End raid with three members of the ‘Dads of Destiny’ clan and livestreamed the event to the public. The raid run itself wasn’t particularly interesting, as the fireteam downed Crota in a timely manner, but what the Bungie devs had to say about designing the raid was. As the fire team went through each section of Crota’s End, the Bungie devs offered some interesting tidbits about their design....

As players expected, The Reef will serve as a HUB replacement for the House of Wolves DLC....
Destiny’s large sci-fi universe has its own draw, while its connected world provides a new style of gameplay to players only used to interacting with other players in multiplayer matches and lobbies. The problem with this ambitious design and making a huge game that’s always online is the hefty weight on developer Bungie’s shoulders when it comes to servers. It meant that Destiny’s online stability was one of its key pillars, ergo without this the entire game would crumble....

See, while The Reef is supposed to be a new social space for Destiny, developed some time between the launch of the game and now, it may have already been part of Bungie’s plans from the very beginning....
In addition, GameStop is holding their own Deus Ex: Human Revolution giveaway offering $20,000 of various living room “augmentations” should you pre-order the game from them. In other words, that’s a new TV and speaker system, among other things. The ad wizards for Deus Ex: Human Revolution have done a pretty steady job of exposing the public to elements of the game. Just enough to keep them interested, but not enough to wear out their welcome....
The blame, for lack of a better word, can largely be placed on development, as it isn’t as simple and straightforward as many may think. In some cases, a second team is brought on to bring the PC port to completion, and that alone can draw out some hesitation from PC gamers. Because if it’s not the main developer working on the game, how could it possibly feel like the same game from start to finish?...
To help show that there is still some of the Dante gamers know and love beneath this skinnier, dark haired kid, Ninja Theory has released a short gameplay trailer for DmC that shows Dante being Dante, and even rocking the white hair and bright red coat. Though the trailer does carry a lot of Ninja Theory’s signature style (most recently seen in Enslaved: Odyssey to the West), the combat seems very Devil May Cry....

[HTML1] More than a year after Diablo 3 finally made its long-overdue (and distressingly buggy) debut on PC, Blizzard officially confirmed the game’s console incarnation during Sony’s “See the Future” event. Currently slated for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, Diablo 3 may ultimately appear on additional, non-Sony consoles, as well. For now, Blizzard is keeping mum on the subject of the game’s release date - we don’t yet know if Diablo 3 will be a PS4 launch title, like inFAMOUS: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, Driveclub and Watch_Dogs - but a trio of new trailers and a selection screenshots show that the PS3 version is shaping up nicely....
A couple of players had a decent outing against the Dutch champions, with Tsimikas being one of them. The Greek international started as the left-back following Andy Robertson’s knee injury prior to the game at Anfield on Tuesday (September 13).
